New Marketing and Communications Appointment
Celebrating its 20th birthday this year, Sunshine Coast property company, Reed Property Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Kathy Contoleon as its new Marketing and Communications Manager.
Kathy joins the team permanently after consulting with the marketing team since July 2006. An experienced communications professional, Kathy brings with her a wealth of marketing and communications knowledge, gained from working in both the private and public sectors on the Sunshine Coast, including Maroochy Shire Council.
Welcoming the appointment, Managing Director, Ken Reed said, “I’m delighted we have attracted such a high calibre individual to join the senior management team at Reed Property Group. Kathy brings skills and experience which will be invaluable in taking the company through the next important development phase.
“Across the company, we now work within four major divisions – development, construction, funds management and corporate services. Kathy will lead the company’s overall marketing and communications philosophy both internally and externally. Our focus will be to continually nurture and meet the needs of existing clients and partners and develop competitive campaigns for new products that come on the market.”
Kathy takes over the reins of Mark Tolley, who has had a long association with Reed including the last two years as their Director of Sales and Marketing.
Ken Reed said Mark has been instrumental in building the Reed marketing vision, including greater brand awareness, brand value, and positioning of Reed within the marketplace.
Commenting on his resignation, Mark said he made this decision for personal reasons, including being able to give more attention to other business commitments and opportunities and to his family.
“During my time here at Reed, I have developed a healthy respect for the organisation, their values and their professionalism. I still enjoy strong relationships with the Reed team, and expect that our paths will continue to cross at various times down the track,” Mr Tolley said.
