Reed Funds opens Silver Office in Gold Location

Reed Funds Management Limited (RFML), a division of Reed Property Group prominently based on the Sunshine Coast, will officially celebrate the opening of their new office on the Gold Coast next week on Wednesday 14 March, 2007 at 4pm.

A product of RFML, the Reed Property Trust, has almost $100 million worth of assets, one of them being the building of the new office, Silver @ The Exchange, on the Gold Coast.

Located at 194 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes (between Bond University and Robina Town Centre) the office is now fully functional and is the base for RFML’s Business Development Manger, Valda Wheeler.

Speaking of the launch into the Gold Coast market, Director of Reed Funds Management, Tory Richards said the Property Trust had been well received amongst Gold Coast advisers and investors.

"
The opening of a new office with a full-time Business Development Manger located on-site is the next step to ensuring we meet the needs of our customer’s,” Ms Richards said.

Silver @ The Exchange is an “A” grade commercial office building and forms part of the Reed Property Trust’s (the main RFML product) current property portfolio. RFML joins other tenants such as IBM Australia, AON Insurance and the Gold Coast City Council who’ve secured space in the high quality office.

"
The Trust is continuing its steady growth and this move into the Gold Coast market is part of a long term strategy that is aimed at maintaining a very stable, superior income stream with attractive tax advantages for investors,” Ms Richards said.

RFML is a wholly owned division of Reed Property Group, a family owned company, based on the Sunshine Coast, with a solid 20 year performance in construction, development, hospitality, childcare and charitable endeavours.

The Property Trust offers effective sectoral and geographical diversification into an investment portfolio worth almost $100 million and delivers 100% tax deferred benefits on income paid to investors for the forecast period.

The diversified Property Trust currently has property assets on both the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast such as the Chancellor Village Homemaker Centre, Chancellor Village Convenience Centre and Noosa Gateway.

Last year, the Property Trust acquired Silver @ The Exchange as well as the APN Printing Services facility in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast.

The Reed Property Trust is open for investment.
