Ken Reed
Managing Director

Ken Reed has a background in management and finance, working previously for an Australian banking institution within its international division.  Prior to the establishment of Reed Property Group in 1987, Ken managed the Queensland arm of a major international building products company.

Ken is a Fellow of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and a Senior Fellow of the University of the Sunshine Coast. He has served in executive positions on regional committees of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and Queensland Master Builders Association.

Ken oversees all facets of the company's growth and strategic development.

John Calcino
Director and Chief Financial Officer

John Calcino has extensive experience in the financial and securities industry in both Britain and Australia.  With tertiary and post graduate qualifications in business and finance, John's prior experience on the Executive Committee of the Sunshine Coast Branch of the Urban Development Institute of Australia has proved beneficial to Reed Property Group.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, John oversees the company's operations and administration, ensuring all aspects of compliance, accountability and financial management.

 

Richard Ash
Non-Executive Director

Richard has more than 25 years of experience in finance and real estate in Australia and Asia.  Prior to forming AAP Capital, Richard was a Managing Director, Head of Asset Finance for Developed Asia and a member of the Australian executive team for Nomura Australia/Lehman Brothers.

Richard was also head of the real estate transaction origination team for Westpac’s Specialised Capital Group, which listed and managed the Westpac Office Trust as well a number of unlisted real estate vehicles via Westpac Funds Management Limited.  He has worked for Macquarie Bank in Asia and KPMG.

Richard is a chartered accountant and has a Bachelor of Economics degree.

 

Ric Peterson
Non-Executive Director

Ric has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry in Australia and Asia, having performed roles in corporate real estate, construction, development, funds management and finance.

Prior to forming AAP Capital, Ric was an Executive Director of Asset Finance for Developed Asia for Nomura. He was also a co-founder of Ronin Property Group and has held senior positions with companies such as IBM, Lend Lease, Westpac and Lehman Brothers.

Ric has an Engineering Degree from the University of New South Wales and has served on a number of industry bodies. He currently sits on the Divisional Council of the Property Council of Australia (NSW) and is the chair of the PCA NSW Planning Committee.
