Richard has more than 25 years of experience in finance and real estate in Australia and Asia. Prior to forming AAP Capital, Richard was a Managing Director, Head of Asset Finance for Developed Asia and a member of the Australian executive team for Nomura Australia/Lehman Brothers.
Richard was also head of the real estate transaction origination team for Westpac’s Specialised Capital Group, which listed and managed the Westpac Office Trust as well a number of unlisted real estate vehicles via Westpac Funds Management Limited. He has worked for Macquarie Bank in Asia and KPMG.
Richard is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor degree in economics.
Ric has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry in Australia and Asia, having performed roles in corporate real estate, construction, development, funds management and finance.
Prior to forming AAP Capital, Ric was an Executive Director of Asset Finance for Developed Asia for Nomura. He was also a co-founder of Ronin Property Group and has held senior positions with companies such as IBM, Lend Lease, Westpac and Lehman Brothers.
Ric has an engineering degree from the University of New South Wales and has served on a number of industry bodies. He currently sits on the Divisional Council of the Property Council of Australia (NSW) and is the chair of the PCA NSW Planning Committee.
Chief Executive Officer
Jay Emmerton brings more than twenty years of experience in the property industry to the role, as well as expertise in leading development teams.
His extensive knowledge of delivering both small and large-scale developments in residential and commercial property markets is of great value to the Reed team.
Having worked for a range of well-known companies including Mirvac, Urbex (part of BMD Constructions) and Baulderstone Hornibrook, Jay is skilled in acquiring, developing, leasing and selling property projects.
In his previous roles, Jay developed various projects including residential subdivisions; residential apartments; marinas; commercial buildings and industrial developments. He also managed development teams in different parts of Queensland.
Group Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Elizabeth joined Reed Property Group with over twenty years’ experience in both large and smaller listed and private companies across the investment banking, property development, construction and funds management sectors.
Her previous roles include Chief Financial Officer for CPC and Group Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Dennis Group; a large, privately owned group with both property and agricultural interests.A qualified Chartered Accountant, Elizabeth also holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and is currently working towards completion of an MBA at the University of Queensland.
